At EU-JOBS we have always believed that Hungarian youth shall be collecting as wide international experience as possible. We do not offer them only chance to visit European countries but gaining skills and memories from oversees. Therefore we have successfully negotiated with Vancouver based English Bay College, and became an official Promoter of the Program. Please see some information below:
Step UP to Work n' Study - Hospitality™ is an Academic program with a Practicum, or paid internship that offers multiple opportunities to link classroom learning to workplace experience. Canada’s leading Work and Study Program is one of the best ways to gain firsthand experience of Canadian culture and its people. Studying and working in Canada will give you options and experiences that are unique to local Canadians. What makes this experience so special is that when you go home, you'll have much more than great memories, new friends from around the world, and amazing photos of a beautiful country. You will also have an international work experience that will make your resume get noticed!
Academic Component
Intensive study includes English Language Training/Cultural Training, Hospitality Workshops (English as a Second Language based), and focuses on language acquisition and practice in the context of conflict resolution, cultural competence, problem solving, teamwork, handling criticism, adaptability, motivation, and leadership skills, industry specific terminology and practices.
Program Options
We know that every student is a unique personality and each one may have very different goals, come to Canada with unique life experiences, and a slightly different idea about adventure and travelling and working abroad. With this in mind, we designed our Program to have options that match most personality types and desired experiences. If you have previously travelled abroad, have work experience, and consider yourself very independent, you might prefer the wide variety of job options and locations in our Silver Program. On the other hand, this may be your first experience in a foreign country, you may have very limited work experiences, and you prefer to have every single aspect of your work and study experience controlled, managed, and organized from beginning to end…in this instance, our Gold Program is likely best suited for you.
